Post Assessment & Course Evaluation

Institutional Course Evaluation
We have high expectations for our department response rate to be at least 60% or higher.  Our record is Fall 2014 with 65.03%.  To maintain our success, we expect you to arrange for your students to have access to a computer to take the course evaluation (approximately 10-15 minutes) during class time within weeks 14-15.  Course evaluations generally close on Tuesday during finals week, so waiting until week 16 is not an option.

The results of your course evaluation will be emailed to you in the form of a report and are reviewed by the Chair of the department, Rebecca Sailor.

Spring 2018 Course Evaluation: https://aims.campuslabs.com/courseeval (Students are sent the link in an email.  The dates available for students to complete it will be announced.  We recommend that you post it as an news announcement on your course shell)
  • You can log in to aims.campuslabs.com/faculty to check your completion rates.

  • Post-Assessment
Use the website link posted below to have your students to complete the post assessment (15-20 minutes) during class time within week 15.  Do not wait until finals week to have your students take this assessment.  If students do not show up the final, they would not complete the post assessment as a result.  Having students complete it earlier allows additional sessions for you to "catch" those students that miss the day you provide time.

Students earn points for completing this assessment and you can be notified during week 16 which of your students have completed it by contacting Francie Rottini at francie.rottini@aims.edu.  When students complete it during class, you can note those that attend and you see completing it.

Spring 2018 Post Assessment: https://baseline.campuslabs.com/acc/sp18aaa090 (We recommend that you post it as an news announcement on your course shell)  The PrePost Assessment will open on Monday,  4/23 and close during finals week, Friday, 5/4. This is a "live" link, meaning it will start collecting data. Please dot now "practice" with this link as it will skew our data.
